Visible leaks and suspected hidden faults
Tell Donovan whether the leak is at a joint, a fitting, a pipe or an area where the pipework is concealed. Useful details include when it first appeared, whether it changes when a tap or appliance is used and whether the wet area is spreading.
A stain alone does not identify which pipe or fitting is responsible. Avoid assuming that a nearby fixture is definitely the cause; explain the observations so the source can be assessed before the repair is scoped.
- Burst or visibly damaged pipework
