Leaking shower repairs in the Algarve

Explain when and where the leak appears

Does water appear only while someone is showering, after the drain has been used, or even when the shower has been left alone? Is it visible at the screen, around the tray, beside a wall or in the room below? These details help narrow down what needs checking.

A leaking shower is not automatically a sealant problem. The fault may involve drainage, a connection or the surrounding waterproofing. Discuss the symptoms before deciding on a cosmetic repair that may not address the source.

• Suspected shower-drain leaks
• Repair and reinstatement of the affected shower finish

Repair the cause and agree the finish

In the ABC project shown here, the shower area was opened, drainage and waterproofing were repaired, and the tiles and screen were reinstated. The amount of work for another shower depends on the actual fault and what can be accessed.
