Describe the symptom before choosing a part
Tell Donovan whether water keeps running into the bowl, the cistern will not fill, the flush is weak or water is leaking externally. If the toilet is blocked, explain whether the water level rises and whether other drains are also affected.
A photo of the toilet and visible fitting can help identify the type of installation. If you know the brand or have details from a previous repair, include them. Parts availability and access should be checked rather than assuming one replacement fits every toilet.
- Continuously running or leaking cisterns
